Next year’s festival program will be both online and in-person. The past two editions of the fully virtual Sundance Film Festival were fantastic experiences, and saw a coming together of movie fans online that felt wholly unique. Sundance had its first ever Best Picture winner in March when “CODA” won the big prize.
