Sources are telling me that a $100M opening day will happen for ‘No Way Home,’ and that by Sunday, it will easily become the highest grossing movie of the year, besting “Black Widow” by quite a few million dollars. Who says people are scared of Omicron? I skipped the press screening for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on Monday, but will now drag my ass to see it sometime on the weekend. The reviews have been good-but-not-great and yet its CinemaScore is set to be an A, its IMDB rating is currently at an astounding 9.2 and even the MCU Grinch himself, Jeffrey Wells, loved it.
