If you remember, Danny Boyle unexpectedly quit the project a mere few weeks before shooting was.to begin Boyle allegedly cited “creative differences” and a dispute over the portrayal of the villain. “True Detective” and “Maniac” director Cary Fukunaga then took over the reins and, et voila, enter “No Time to Die,” the highly anticipated 25th film in the franchise and Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007. The film finds Bond living in Jamaica, having retired from MI6 when a familiar face in former CIA agent Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) draws him back into service. Lashana Lynch is being rumored as the next 007 in Fukunaga’s upcoming film. Lynch (who stole the show in “Captain Marvel”) is set to play MI6 agent Nomi, who is supposed to be shadowing a near-retired Bond. . Craig and Rami Malek (playing the villain) will be joined by actors Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Billy Magnussen in the film. “No Time to Die” will be released on November 12th, 2020.
