I’m telling you this right now: the industry will most likely be in partial shutdown again because of the growing hysteria going on due to Omicron. At this point, there’s no way around it and we haven’t even gotten close to the peak impact of the variant at home. Europeans are all starting to feel it already. You might imagine the organizers behind next January’s Sundance Film Festival are doing somersaults over their decision to make their entire lineup available digitally.
