As it stands, del Toro is still editing the film and won’t be completing it until the last week of November. So when this screens, the following week, it’ll still be hot off the presses. Notice how there’s a screening in New York City on December 2nd and the following day The New York Film Critics Circle votes on its awards. The “Nightmare Alley” delays seem to stem from the sound and music mix still not being added, ditto color correction and final VFX.
