Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern will star in Florian Zeller’s sophomore effort, after his triumphant Oscar-winning “The Father.” Adapted by Zeller from his own acclaimed stage play, “The Son” has an October release date which probably means no New York Film Festival. It will most likely be submitted to Venice, Telluride and Toronto. Zeller also has a stage play called “The Mother.” Who wants to bet that’ll be his next feature film?
