I’ve heard three reactions thus far for the film, all mediocre. It seems as though Sandler was badly miscast in a role that demanded a range of emotions. The screenplay is said to also be very weak. The film is based on a true story, Procházka was orphaned as a boy and raised in the Czech countryside by his grandparents, but overcame his odds to become the country’s first astronaut. Back to Sandler, he will have to wait for that elusive Oscar nomination, which he absolutely deserved for “Punch-Drunk Love” and “Uncut Gems”. Contribute Hire me
