Sheri Moon Zombie, Danny Trejo and Bill Moseley are back in their respective roles. Now, curiously, we’re all wondering how exactly Zombie plans to make Baby and Otis return for in this sequel, but the title and trailer do suggest a sort of purgatory for them. I don’t mind the supernatural element, but what made “The Devil’s Rejects” so good was how it felt real and grounded in a world where that kind of evil could very well exist. Zombie’s last film was the disappointing “31” in 2016, but a much-welcome return to familiar territory is just what the doctor ordered. “3 From Hell” is set for release later this year.
